One of the things I love most about photography is capturing people, their emotions, connections, and those authentic moments that tell a genuine story.

Although most of my work is focused in the commercial and business world, I occasionally get invited to photograph weddings. Over the years, I’ve captured everything from festival-style celebrations to luxury boat weddings around Sandbanks in Poole and Brownsea Island — to rustic barns, elegant hotels, and classic town halls, including introduction of weddings post covid with masks and trying to capture the moment as best we could.

This however was my first Italian wedding!!!

It's always a privilege and honour of being asked to photograph such an important and special day and this wedding stands out as one of my favourites. Not only because myself and my husband spent the week enjoying life in Sorrento, exploring Pompeii, Herculaneum and Mount Vesuvius, not to mention the surprise 'all exclusive' hotel but we got to enjoy the company of a fantastic group of fun, warm, kind and awesome people celebrating love, laughter, and life together.

We shared the wonderful marriage celebrations, the tearful emotions and stunning standout ceremony of our beautiful friends, whom I met in Devon all those years ago who have been there not just through the fun times but the challenging ones too ❤️ - What a day!!!

It reminded me why I fell in love with photography in the first place: it’s about connection. Whether I’m shooting for a brand, a business, or a couple, it’s always about telling real stories and capturing moments that matter.
