Last Friday I got to photograph another fantastic event, held by Cardiff City FC Community Foundation with Author Lee Newbury at Cardiff City Football Club and attended by over 100 children.

This was part of 'Premier Stars Club Author Day' - Premier Leagues free education programme. Seeing the engagement and excitement from young people getting their book signings and being inspired, was so lovely to capture.

Loved the passionate stadium tour with Louis Evans and my first visit to the away changing rooms (I've always been intrigued to how they are compared to the home team!) with brilliant delivery from the CCFC CF team and lots of activities in the House of Sport and inspirational talks from Lee.

Lee's first book, The Last Firefox, won the Wales Book of the Year People's Choice Award and was shortlisted for the Waterstones Children's Book Prize.
His new book, 'Holomonster' brings card battles to life in this brand new gaming inspired fantasy adventure and is already available at Waterstones Cardiff and publishes tomorrow..... whoop whoop!!!! go grab a copy!!
