I felt privileged to attend and photograph the launch of Cambrensis' latest project at Merthyr Tydfil Indoor Market. Founded in 2022 by Ioan Bowen-Pickett, the Welsh fashion brand has rapidly gained recognition, staging Wales' largest-ever runway show and appearing at London Fashion Week.

The event celebrated the unveiling of two large-scale permanent murals inside the market. The artworks pay tribute to Ioan's late great-uncle, Dewi Bowen, whose original artwork has inspired a number of Cambrensis clothing designs and continues to influence the brand's creative identity.

Guests gathered inside the transformed indoor market, which provided an impressive setting for the evening's celebrations and enjoyed refreshments sponsored by Brains Brewery!!. The launch also featured a Cambrensis pop-up shop, giving visitors the opportunity to browse the latest collection before viewing the newly unveiled murals.
