A few months ago I photographed my special friend’s wedding - my very first wedding at Llanerch Vineyard Hotel, a venue I’d been desperate to photograph for some time. Since moving to South Wales, Llanerch has become one of my go-to places: somewhere I love staying overnight, popping in for a drink after work, enjoying relaxed evenings overlooking the vines in the summer with a glass of Minuty (*with ice cube Dan Langford OBE) or Llanerch's own bottle with a meal (they genuinely have the best Sunday roasts and afternoon teas). I’ve visited countless events over the years, but I’d never experienced a wedding there before — so this one felt extra special.

We love it. (Ryan the owner is also pretty fab too!)

Myself and Carla both relocated from England at the same time and bonded over many things - especially watching England football games together and drinking lots of red wine!! So when I was asked to photograph her special day I was incredibly touched and honoured and I'll be honest super, super nervous, as I didn't want to let my friend down. Apart from the fact I rocked up to this wedding really ill, I put on a smile, took the contents from a pharmacy and enjoyed the day loving every second!!! ❤️ also a big thank you to superstar Owain Roberts for your skills 🙂

It’s a fantastic venue to photograph, with everything thoughtfully designed and conveniently located in one place. The stylish dressing room is beautifully finished, featuring the most gorgeous colours and furnishings.

The bright ceremony room below—overlooking the vineyard—is a dream to photograph (my ideal lighting!) with stunning views across the vines and the reception room is just a short walk away, offering yet another gorgeous vineyard backdrop.

The staff were an absolute joy to work with, and I may have even enjoyed a glass or two of Llanerch wine along the way
